Three laboratories for Adami Tullu
Between 2014 and 2015 New Flower in Africa has funded the provision of furniture and tools for the creation of three laboratories at the high school of Adami Tullo built by the Salesians. As a result of this intervention the 200 students who attend school daily can currently take lessons adequately preparing for their future.
A priority for New Flower in Africa is to enable school children to have access to proper education by providing them with the right tools. With this project, Nfa wanted to ensure these students financially disadvantaged and born in a marginal location the opportunity to train at best; we wonder if among these guys there will be a future chemist!
Direct beneficiaries are the 200 high school students who attend classes 9, 10, 11, 12 and their teachers.
Adami Tullu is a small town along the main road connecting Addis Abeba with Nairobi. Located in the southern part of Oromia region, Adami Tullu is located on the western shore of Lake Zway few kilometers after the homonymous town. The country is mostly rural and the people who live there are in a condition of poverty despite its potentially useful location for trade and the creation of small businesses.
