Classrooms and Laboratories for the Mariam Tsion Catholic School of Addis Ababa
The project has the purpose of furnishing with desks, seats, teacher tables and blackboards the classrooms of grades from seven to twelve, alongside with the laboratories of physics, chemistry and biology, the library and the IT room.
REASONS TO INTERVENE
The project is fundamental to create an appropriate studying environment for the pupils. Moreover, the construction of laboratories replies to the necessity of meeting the standards set by the government.
NUMBER OF DIRECT/INDIRECT BENEFICIARIES
800 students between 7 and 18 years old that will attend school from grade 7 to 12 every year.
THE COUNTRY
Addis Ababa, which in Amharic means New Flower, is the capital city of Ethiopia and Head Quarter of the African Union. It has 3,273,000 inhabitants according to surveys set in July 2015.
