REASONS TO TAKE ACTION

Since the beginning, New Flower in Africa has supported this project with the idea of funding the dissemination of knowledge, information and good practices alongside a formal education for all children within the neighborhood of Bole Bulbula, to increase their opportunities. In particular, this collaboration with the Salesian Sisters represents the desire to allow girls and boys living in poverty to have access to a formal education, with the possibility to pursue a higher education at a university level.

DIRECT AND INDIRECT BENEFICIARIES

1,450 beneficiaries among students and teachers.

COUNTRY
Bole Bulbula district, where the New Flower in Africa project is located, is a peripheral area in great expansion. In few years the villages, meadows, small crops and pastures for goats were dumped from huge modern buildings and several shops. Although in this area is still predominantly inhabited by poor families living in small huts, is gradually rising a rich community involved in a process of urbanization.
