The Nuovo Fiore in Africa Foundation is a non-profit, apolitical and independent organization, created with the goal of promoting cooperation and sustainable development through education.
We believe that education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty and giving young Africans the opportunity to build their own future. For this reason, the Foundation is committed to promoting, encouraging, and supporting basic education — from early childhood to technical and vocational training — with a particular focus on children and young people in African countries, especially in Ethiopia.
Our activities include funding educational facilities, both new and existing, as well as supporting vocational training in areas considered essential for the growth and well-being of local communities. Every project is developed in collaboration with missions, local institutions, and partner organizations, ensuring an ethical, transparent approach focused on delivering measurable results.
Through education, the Foundation aims to develop skills, nurture talent, and provide equal opportunities for young people of all genders, contributing to the creation of a fairer, more aware, and more self-reliant society. Education thus becomes the fertile ground from which a “new flower” can bloom — a symbol of hope, renewal, and dignity.
The mission of the Foundation is not only to build schools, but to build the future — generating a lasting impact on individuals and communities. Every initiative represents a step toward an Africa where access to education is a right, not a privilege, and where every child can learn, grow, and contribute to the common good.
We believe that education is the most powerful seed to help Africa’s future bloom. Our vision is a continent where every child — regardless of birthplace or economic conditions — can grow with dignity, education, and hope.
We aim to support the development of a new generation of young Africans, capable of building fairer, more supportive, and more sustainable communities, where knowledge becomes the foundation of human and social progress.
Since 2011, the Nuovo Fiore in Africa Foundation has been promoting and supporting educational projects in Sub-Saharan African countries, with a particular focus on Ethiopia and South Sudan. We collaborate with local religious congregations and rural communities to build schools, train teachers, and ensure quality education for children and young people who often live in remote and disadvantaged areas.
Our mission is based on three core pillars:
Each project is developed in collaboration with local communities and aims to promote education, personal growth, and sustainable development.
