In 2020, we supported the construction of a multi-purpose hall in Hobe, Ethiopia, a rural area marked by isolation, poverty, and a growing risk of youth migration. The intervention arose from the desire to create a safe, educational, and community space that could become a stable reference point for children, young people, and families.
The structure was inaugurated in 2021, received with enthusiasm by over 700 people at the opening celebration. Today it hosts school activities, workshops, sports, youth groups, theater, and a library, and can be divided into four classrooms to adapt to the needs of the school and the community.
With approximately 5,000 direct beneficiaries, this hall has become a safeguard against marginalization, where education meets culture, social life, and personal growth. We continue to believe in it, because a well-designed space can change the destiny of an entire community.
School infrastructures are the heart of our interventions in Africa: without safe classrooms, adequate spaces, and modern tools, learning remains a privilege for a few. This is why we build and renovate schools, create laboratories and educational spaces that allow children and young people to grow up in dignified environments. Every new classroom is not just a building, but a seed of hope and future for entire communities.

Hobe is an agricultural village located in rural Ethiopia, where daily life is strongly linked to working in the fields and livestock farming. Families sustain themselves through subsistence activities, but harvests are often uncertain and influenced by climate variations, leaving many people in conditions of economic precariousness. Educational infrastructures are limited: children have to travel long distances to reach school, and classrooms are often overcrowded. Despite the difficulties, Hobe is a cohesive community, with strong social and cultural ties that help them face daily challenges. The possibility of accessing stable education represents a decisive opportunity to break the cycle of poverty and ensure a better future for the youngest.
With the goal of supporting basic education and vocational training, the Foundation invests in infrastructure and initiatives addressing educational challenges such as the empowerment of girls and women.
Each project is developed in collaboration with local communities and aims to promote education, personal growth, and sustainable development.
