From 2016 to 2019, we carried out the "A New Beginning" project in Accra and the Central Region of Ghana, dedicated to 30 young people aged 18 to 25 who grew up in orphanages or in conditions of severe social marginalization. The initiative provided individualized paths for psychological support, basic education, vocational training, and job guidance, with the aim of fostering the beneficiaries' autonomy and socio-economic integration.
In a context where over 20% of young people are neither studying nor working (World Bank, 2022) and many young people without family support live in conditions of high vulnerability (UNICEF, 2023), the project represented a concrete opportunity to build a dignified future. Participants completed certified training courses, developed professional skills, and undertook work experiences, while also strengthening their self-confidence and relational abilities.
The impact also extended to local communities, with approximately 180 indirect beneficiaries, including families, employers, and involved operators, helping to create welcoming and support networks.
We collaborate with NGOs on projects that combine resources and skills, responding to local needs and building hope together with communities.

The Greater Accra Region is one of the most densely populated and dynamic areas of Ghana, with a young and vibrant population that represents an extraordinary resource for the country's future. Despite this vitality, educational and economic poverty continues to deprive thousands of children of fundamental opportunities, exposing them to serious social risks. The data is alarming: 62% of young people have suffered physical violence in the family, 32% at school, and 60% know of cases of child sexual exploitation; moreover, 7% of boys are involved in child labor and 12% of girls are forced to marry before the age of 18. In this fragile context, investment in new schools and educational projects becomes decisive: it means protecting the youngest, reducing exploitation, and transforming community resilience into concrete hope for thousands of young people.
With the goal of supporting basic education and vocational training, the Foundation invests in infrastructure and initiatives addressing educational challenges such as the empowerment of girls and women.
Each project is developed in collaboration with local communities and aims to promote education, personal growth, and sustainable development.
